Welcome to LOT 101

Welcome to Lot 101, a precinct of 600 hectares of native bushland and farmland under the cliffs of the Megalong Valley, offering the perfect weekend getaway of accommodation, bush walks, fine dining, and nature conservation. Whether you’re looking for a casual break, a gourmet seasonal meal, a wedding venue, or to host a corporate or yoga retreat, LOT 101 is the destination for you.

Just a two hours drive from Sydney in the Megalong Valley, LOT 101 is dedicated to demonstrating that we don’t need to choose between wonderful food and a sustainable, productive environment.  We grow a huge variety of vegetables and fruit and raise sheep, cattle, ducks and chickens. Everything we do is done to constantly improve and enhance the ecosystem in which we live and work to provide great food and protect and restore the wild habitat, biodiversity, water quality and soil health of this magical place.

Our offering includes:

Megalong Restaurant, seasonal gourmet meals at our paddock to plate restaurant that has already wowed reviewers only in its first year.

Werriberri Cottages, 6 double-bedroom cottages set among lush bushland in walking distance to food options, walks, and the fabulous Old Stables retreats space.

The historic Megalong Valley Tearooms, a true country eatery offering fresh farm produce and award winning scones and apple pie.

Come and experience the magic of LOT 101 and its surroundings. We are hidden in the bush, surrounded by wombat burrows, the sound of birds and softly bubbling creeks. A cow may wander nearby, and you may grab a handful of herbs from our vegetable gardens.

FARM FRESH PRODUCE

Greenhouse Production

We grow various vegetable crops on the Lot 101 property and run cattle, sheep, chickens and ducks. We use greenhouse production to extend our cropping potential during the colder months. Our vegetable production systems are as intensive as they are diverse. Improving soil and plant health underpins our approach to working in tandem with the land.

Our grazing system uses regenerative farming techniques such as cell grazing and continual stock rotations to benefit our stock and pastoral health.

Sustainability

We believe that sustainability should not only be judged by environmental parameters but also on a social level. We have developed food production systems that are sustainable by design and focus on improving the environment’s well-being.

This ethos is carried through at our on-property restaurant Megalong where we endeavour to nurture and raise all the produce that graces our menu.

Experience the farm, restaurant and Tea Rooms in the heart of the Megalong Valley where you can buy our seasonally fresh fruit and vegetables, pickles, jams and preserves, sausages and more.

ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

Megalong restaurant sits at the heart of our farm LOT 101, located in the idyllic Megalong Valley, NSW, where we apply the best sustainable, organic and regenerative farming practices.

At Megalong we endeavour to nurture and raise all the produce that graces our menu.

A new season means a new menu driven by what’s ready to pick in our kitchen garden, ripening in the orchard or dry aging in the coolroom.
